PEM50 Permanent Electromagnetic Chucks is designed for heavy duty milling, boring and grinding application. It use MAGTWINS bi-stable technology to let you clamp ferrous workpiece of different shapes safely, quickly and economically without any equipment changes.
PERMANENT ELECTROMAGNETIC CHUCKS
PEM magnetic chucks can be used easily on all common milling, grinding, turning and machining centers for energy efficient and process reliable clamping. The magnetic clamping technology enables a save deformation and vibration free hold of ferromagnetic workpieces in seconds. This reduces set-up times, preserves tools and ensures highest quality.
Control system for PEM chuck
Flexible control unit could be choosed according to both standard and customized poles layout. The working voltage (200~400v) and frequency(50/60Hz) are also available according to request.
The MAGTWINS control units allow you to activate or deactivate the magnetic chucks. A specially sealed quick-release connector, which is integrated into the control units, connects the unit to the magnetic chuck.The control unit is characterized by its compact and robust construction and ease of use. The control units are default-fitted with a manual control, but can be fitted with a robust, industrial-grade remote control upon request. Depending on the size or configurations of the magnetic chucks, they are available as 1, 2 or 4 channel versions.
Pole extensions for PEM chuck
Pole extension could pretect magnetic chuck from wearing out and make the working life longer. Besides, we could design and manufacture special pole extensions solution for various applications.
Workpiece of any structure can be perfectly clamped using MAGTWINS pole extensions. The pole extensions adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece-the workpiece is supported and rests solidly on the extensions, enabling it to be processed from all 5 sides.
Waterproof structure surface
The high performance epoxy resin filled in poles gaps could protect the chuck surface from coolant oil or water.
MAGTWINS keep optimizing the inner structure to make sure there is no gap on the surface and avoid the coolant oil or water to leak into the inner electrical switch system and make the service life longer.
